The Signature Villas are the larger of the villas on the Palm and are usually 7,000 sq ft set on a 13,000 sq.ft plot. The Villas are set on the ‘Fronds’ and offer a range of different styles and floor plans. In addition to these styles we are now seeing that many villas are being renovated and remodelled.
The original Signature Villas were developed by the master developer Nakheel and sold as early as 2002 off plan. These early sales resulted in the villas being sold out 4 years before handover and in this timeframe there were many tales of some villas changing hands over 5 times. The folklore also includes the infamous sale of a dozen villas to the England International football team who were staying in Dubai on their way to the World Cup. We know from experience that this was true but over the years since they bought most have now sold their investments. One of the most famous footballers in the squad, David Beckham, is still a proud owner of his Palm Jumeirah Signature villa and looks set to retain it.
In 2016 we are seeing that Palm Jumeirah Signature villa prices are ranging from AED 20,000,000 all the way up to AED 70,000,000. The vast range in value is determined by the location, extensions and upgrades.
